He’s Been Faithful

 

In my moments of fear, every dream, every tear,

There’s a God who’s been faithful to me.

 

When my strength was all gone,

And my heart had no song,

Still in love, He was faithful to me.

 

Every word He promised is true,

What I thought was impossible,

I seem like I can do.

 

He’s been faithful, faithful to me.

Looking back at His mercy, I see.

Sometimes when I stumble and failed to believe,

He’s been faithful, faithful to me.

 

Days I spent, selfishly, reaching out,

To what pleased me,

Still my God, He was faithful to me.

 

Every time I run back to Him,

I see Him standing there, with open arms,

And I know once again,

 

He’s been faithful, faithful to me.

Looking back at His mercy I see.
